55+ Communities, also called 55 Plus Communities, are active retirement havens for adults, offering varied amenities and housing from golf course homes to serene city living among like-minded neighbors. They typically include pools, Pickleball, Shuffleboard, tennis courts, clubhouses with kitchens, and championship golf courses in gated, resort-like environments.

North Dakota, known for its friendly residents, is the northernmost of the Great Plains states.
