55+ Communities, also called 55 Plus Communities, are active retirement havens for adults, offering varied amenities and housing from golf course homes to serene city living among like-minded neighbors. They typically include pools, Pickleball, Shuffleboard, tennis courts, clubhouses with kitchens, and championship golf courses in gated, resort-like environments.
Georgia, known as the “Peach State” and the “Empire State of the South”, is located above the State of Florida. The northern part of the state is in the Blue Ridge Mountains, a mountain range in the vast mountain system of the Appalachians.
