Communities found in this category are centered around golfing facilities ranging from 9-hole courses, through executive 18-hole courses, all the way up to the most challenging and demanding championship courses. Many of these master planned communities also feature such other recreational amenities as tennis courts, fitness centers, swimming complexes, and marinas.
The Great Plains stretch across Eastern Montana, an area that consists of the eastern half of the U.S. state of Montana. The area is drained by the Missouri River, which originates in SW Montana, and by its tributaries, the Milk, the Marias, the Sun, and the Yellowstone Rivers. Its largest city is Billings.
