Located on seven acres just across from a park, Emeritus at Plaza on the River recently underwent a major remodel of its independent and assisted living communities. This, combined with our elegant Southern plantation-style architecture, covered patios, multiple courtyards, walking areas and spectacular views of the Guadalupe River, makes Plaza on the River one of the most desirable senior living campus communities in Texas Hill Country. In addition, we enable seniors to “age in place” by providing these levels of care:

- Independent: Two of our campus buildings are devoted to those residents able to live independently.
- Assisted Living: Our assisted living residents live in a separate two-story building with 38 apartments
- Skilled Nursing: Our skilled nursing facility, which is licensed for 64 beds, is in a separate single-story building designed to feel homelike and welcoming

All buildings are connected, making it easy for residents to take full advantage of our “continuous senior living community.” This unique environment allows residents to easily transition from one care level to the next – so there’s no leaving familiar surroundings or friends just because one’s health need changes. Plus couples can be on the same campus together, even if one lives independently, but the other requires assisted living or skilled nursing care.
