Resort-style amenities highlighting the Mountain Falls community in Pahrump is supportive to residents wanting to live a healthy lifestyle.

According to resident facility manager Josh Gaston, onsite amenities provide residents convenient access to a state-of-the-art fitness facility and swimming pool complex, and a picturesque public golf course with a restaurant offering healthy menu options all located within the master-planned community just about 45 miles west of Las Vegas.

"The Mountain Falls residents’ center is a beautiful facility where our residents can come to relax, exercise and have fun," Gaston said.

“The facility includes a fitness center with top-of-the-line, club-quality exercise equipment. Residents can easily get a full-body work out through strength training equipment, free weights, and a variety of cardio machines including Stairmasters, elliptical and recumbent bicycles. We also offer residents yoga and low-impact aerobics classes on a regular basis in our multipurpose room, appealing to those who prefer a group exercise experience,” Gaston said.

The residents’ facilities offerings will expand in April when its resort-style swimming pool complex reopens.

“Our swimming pool complex, which is open from April through October, is a very popular place among residents of all ages,” Gaston said. “It consists of two areas. One area features a family-style pool and a ‘splash pad’ which is like an interactive water playground that’s fun for kids. In the rear, we have an adult area with a 25-acre lap pool and a spa.”

The facility also consists of a residents’ lounge ideal for social gatherings with card tables, pool tables, and a big-screen television.

The Mountain Falls Golf Club features an 18-hole, par-72 course built amid mature trees and around sparkling water features with multiple waterfalls. Its sloped greens, well-place deep bunkers and water hazards challenge golfers of varying skill. Private and group lessons are available through onsite golf pros.

In addition to daily greens fees, annual, six-month, three-month and monthly golf passes are available to residents and nonresidents alike and include unlimited play and golf cart use.

Gaston said residents who prefer less-strenuous exercise can enjoy leisurely walks along paved walking trails that meander throughout the community and along the perimeter of the course.

Overlooking the golf course is the Mountain Falls Grill Room, serving residents and nonresidents breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu provides a range of fare, including entrees that appeal to those seeking healthy eating options.

William Lyon Homes, Mountain Falls’ master-plan developer, is constructing the Bella Sera, Cascata Ancora and Tramonto neighborhoods, where single-story homes measuring from 1,157 to 2,897 square feet are available. Homes are priced from the mid-$100,000s.

The William Lyon neighborhoods are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when model homes open at noon.

Classic Homes' Paradiso neighborhood features five single- and two-story floor plans measuring up to 4,300 square feet, and Desert Wind Homes' Tivoli neighborhood offers homes that measure from 1,938 to 2,097 square feet. Sales office hours at Paradiso and Tivoli vary.

To visit the Mountain Falls community from Las Vegas, travel approximately 45 miles west on Highway 160 (Blue Diamond Road) past Interstate 15. Before reaching Pahrump, turn left on Manse Road. Proceed to Hafen Ranch Road, turn right and follow the signs.
