Washington is a state for the outdoorsy retiree. There are many recreational opportunities from hiking and bird watching to golfing and skiing. The beautiful landscape offers gorgeous views of both mountain ranges and the Pacific Ocean. Commonly known for it's fishing, Washington has also recently become well-known for its wine. Over the past 10 years, the number of wineries has almost tripled.
