The Heritage of Overland Park was developed to meet the growing needs of todayâs senior adults who suffer from the debilitating disease of Alzheimerâs, as well as other forms of memory disorders and dementia. Our community is specifically designed to create a home-like environment that our memory impaired residents can enjoy.
At The Heritage Communities, we believe that to enable our residents to make the most of each day, they should participate in activities that stimulate the mind and spirit. To ensure that our residents are enjoying their stay, we have teamed up with Northwest Missouri State University to utilize their Recreational Therapy program. This program has an emphasis in Geriatrics, and is tailored for each of our residents.
We envision a community of residents and families that can enjoy a meaningful quality of life. Our residents and families can embrace the past, focus on the present and look forward to the future. Residents, families and associates can live and work together to ensure that each and every day is the most it can be, through a commitment to quality of care, meaningful relationships and respect.
