Indianwood is a secluded retirement golfing community located about 25 miles west of Stuart in Indiantown on Florida's East coast. In addition to custom homes, Indianwood has available many resales as well as seasonal and annual rentals .

AMENITIES

Community Center We have a 12,000 square foot community center which overlooks the pools and tennis courts. Come and relax on the screen porch or enjoy a book or card game in the library. Play a game of pool, ping pong, bingo or join in on any of the numerous activities that take place.

Restaurants/Food Service Our restaurant is open daily for lunch; and, dinner on Friday evenings in the winter months. Our restaurant is conveniently located at the 9th green. Stop and have lunch and a drink before completing the back nine.

Pools/Spas We have two heated swimming pools for your convenience. The jacuzzi pool is an
adults only pool.

Indoor Activities There are pool tables and ping pong in the community center, as well as bingo, card games, a library, computer club, etc. We also feature a Pancake Breakfast the 1st Saturday of every month, Movie Night where you can come buy a hamburger or hot dog or both prior to viewing a movie with your friends and neighbors. Popcorn is available too. What's a movie without popcorn?

Outdoor Activities Besides the swimming pools and tennis courts we also have shuffleboard, bocci ball, horseshoes, a walking trail and; of course, the golf course.

Golf Our par 70, 18 hole championship golf course surrounds a wildlife nature preserve and contains six lakes, the largest being approximately 13 acres. As a resident, you can become a member or play on a green fee basis. We have a P.G.A. Golf Professional on staff.

Tennis

Water/ Marina/ Boating The Indiantown Marina is approximately 1 & 1/4 miles from our entrance and accommodates vessels up to 110 ft. Equipped slips, RV hookups, small boat ramps and floats are available. The Okeechobee waterway connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico at Ft. Myers.

Fishing Enjoy the availability of the Indiantown Marina, the Okeechobee waterway, Lake Okeechobee, the St. Lucie River, the Indian River and the Atlantic Ocean. Lake Okeechobee is the second largest fresh water lake in the US. The lake is known for it's magnificent fishing, largemouth bass up to 10-12 pounds, speckled perch, bream and catfish.

RV Storage We have RV storage on site.

Lots We only have a few inside lots left for building your dream home. With a small down payment, you can reserve a lot for up to 6 months, or you can order your home now if you're ready to build your vacation/retirement home.

Scenic Views Beautiful views of water, wildlife and the golf course are yours from numerous areas in the community. Buy an exisiting home on the golf course and sit on your screen porch or open deck and enjoy the beautiful scenic views and the marvelous weather that Indianwood has to offer.

Public Transit We have public transportation to the local
grocery store. There is also a coach that is available to provide transportation to doctor's offices and local medical labs.

Nearby Attractions Timer Powers Park is a sprawling 37 acre recreational facility on the banks of the Okeechobee waterway. This beautiful park includes a public boat ramp, fishing pier, ampitheater, playground, pavilion and equestrian area. The park also serves as the site for local festivals and 4th of July celebrations hosted by local civic organizations. We are approximately
two hours driving time to Kissimmee and the attractions there as well as a couple of hours to Key Largo and then down to the
Keys. Lion Country Sarfari is within an hour's
drive. Lake Okeechobee is about 10 miles by car. There are walking/riding trails as well as picnic areas around the lake.
