Fishing

Lake Walk-In-Water (Weohyakapka) is one of the best-kept fishing secrets in central Florida. This shallow lake (only 12 feet in depth at its maximum), the largest in Polk County, is known by residents and serious anglers as the home of trophy-size bass, as well as other fish such as schools of speckled perch. We also have an Annual Bass Fishing Tournament.

Walden Shores boasts its own boat ramp and fishing pier, so for residents there is no trouble or expense taking to the waters for a leisurely cruise or some serious angling.

We are the center of the state so it is easy to get anywhere in Florida. Lake Wales has the beautiful Bok Tower Gardens.

Outdoor kitchen and fire pit area. Spend the day at the pool, cook out using the gas grills, burners and sink conveniently located right outside the pool fence. In the evening join your neighbors around the roaring fire and tell stories, reminisce, etc.

Clubhouse

8000 square foot clubhouse houses many activities - dances, potlucks, fish fry dinners, murder mystery dinners, aerobics, line dancing, comedian performers, magician/illusionists, holiday meals, birthday celebrations, weekly breakfast and more! Equipped with a full kitchen, 82 in tv and plenty of space.

Waterfront Views

Our clubhouse is on the waterfront of Lake Walk-in-Water. Residents enjoy the views while swimming in the pool, relaxing in the spa, walking on the pier, etc. We also have premier lots in our new phase that are located on a pond. Enjoy nature from your patio or raised lanai.

Dog park for off leash exercise and many areas to walk pets on leash.
