Golf
WindRiver Championship Golf Course is Tennessee’s first Audubon Signature course, a distinction given only to those that adhere to strict environmental guidelines in design and management. Designed by Jack Nicklaus protégé Bob Cupp, the par-72, 18-hole course with five sets of tees offers players a challenging game of golf on the banks of Tellico Lake with panoramic views of the Great Smoky Mountain foothills.
Tennis
Enjoy friendly competition on our lighted tennis, pickleball and basketball courts or challenge a friend to a game of bocce ball or cornhole on our sports complex lawn.
Water/ Marina/ Boating
A semi-private marina is available to residents with direct access to Tellico Lake, the vast Little Tennessee River System, and its nearly limitless opportunities for fishing, boating, skiing, swimming and other outdoor recreation; features 30- to 90-foot slips (covered and uncovered), shore power and water on docks, self-service fuel station and more.
Fishing
WindRiver is situated along Tellico Lake, 15,500-acre fresh water lake. Fishing is a big sport on Tellico Lake with more than 51 different species of fish found in its pristine waters including bass, bluegill, and trout.
Gated Entry
Safety and security are maintained by WindRiver's gated entrance and manned guard house.
