Overview

Driggs, Idaho, is a small and tightly knit community just west of the Teton Mountain Range that retains the unpretentious lifestyle and exquisite natural surroundings of a classic Western mountain town. Men’s Journal has called this laid-back community America’s best all-around place to live, and in 2006, The Wall Street Journal ranked Driggs among the top 12 off-the-beaten-path vacation home markets in the country. Now, the master-planned residential development of Huntsman Springs is bringing world-class golf, family-friendly recreational amenities and an attractive range of new housing options to the area, with nearly 500 acres set aside as a private wildlife refuge in the heart of the scenic Teton Valley. Buyers can choose from a selection of detached townhomes, upscale developer-built cabins and spacious custom homesites on a magnificent 1,350-acre tract that extends from the downtown area into open rangelands west of town. In addition to the traditional links-style golf course, social and recreational amenities will include a community clubhouse, stocked fish ponds, seven neighborhood parks, tennis and basketball courts, walking and biking trails and outfitting services for fishing, horseback riding, skiing and other outdoor adventures.

AMENITIES

Restaurants/Food Service A casual yet high-quality restaurant located in the golf clubhouse will be open to all residents, with additional dining options available in downtown Driggs and at the nearby Grand Targhee Resort. The town of Jackson Hole, about 45 minutes from Huntsman Springs, offers a more extensive selection of restaurants and retailers.

Fitness Center At the clubhouse, residents will have access to a state-of-the-art fitness center with steam and massage rooms and member locker rooms. Fitness facilities will be available to both Community Club and Huntsman Springs Golf Club members.

Pools/Spas The community pool facility will accommodate 25-meter lap swimming and a separate children’s pool area, with lockers and a snack bar on-site.

Outdoor Activities Huntsman Springs will incorporate a network of private walking, jogging and cycling paths, plus a scenic boardwalk winding through the on-site wildlife refuge. The seven neighborhood parks will feature tennis and basketball courts, picnic areas and playgrounds, and residents will enjoy an ongoing program of recreational classes, group hikes, nature studies and other activities.

Fifteen miles from Huntsman Springs, the Grand Targhee Resort is a full-service family-oriented winter sports facility that is known for abundant annual snowfall and plenty of deep powder. The downhill area has a summit elevation of 10,000 feet, with more than 2,000 feet of vertical drop, five lifts, terrain parks and a program of SnowCat adventures providing access to remote powder runs.

Golf David McLay Kidd (Bandon Dunes), a young Scottish course designer with global roots and recognition, has designed a superb 18-hole course reminiscent of the classic links-style courses of St. Andrews, Scotland. The course will feature a private clubhouse with practice facilities, a restaurant and a full-service retail shop.

Fishing The Teton Valley area is an angler’s dream, with abundant mountain rivers, streams and lakes harboring healthy populations of trophy-size trout. Huntsman Springs will feature stocked fishing ponds at various locations throughout the property, with fly fishing lessons available and outfitting services provided by the nationally recognized Teton Valley Lodge.

Equestrian The community will provide outfitting services for off-site trail rides in the surrounding region.

Lots The community currently offers a selection of half-acre single-family custom homesites priced from $280,000 to $450,000.

Clubhouse Huntsman Springs will offer an active schedule of social events and activities centered around the spacious community clubhouse.
