Overview
Waterside Club is a 55+ community with 111 homes located just 8 miles from the Gulf of Mexico in beautiful Bradenton, FL. It's a small community whose streets are lined with tall palm trees. A new mini activity center has been added next to the pool to accommodate a computer lab, exercise room, billiards area and easy access rest rooms for pool users. This is in addition to the lovely , air conditioned activity center that provides a perfect gathering place for hours of entertainment and fun. Also the new swimming pool added in the fall of 2000 is being enjoyed by swimmers, aqua exercisers and sun bathers. Some of the other fun experiences include: Shuffleboard, Bocci Ball, Computer Classes, Exercise, Dances, Coffee Meetings, Pot lucks, and Card Parties. The community social committee sponsors many other functions during the year that are always well attended big events.
The Sunshine Community Corporate Team along with the Waterside Club manager plans two Resident Appreciation Days every year. In the spring, it's a Strawberry Festival and in the summer a BBQ. Several years ago, Newby management developed a resident satisfaction monitoring system for each of their communities called InsightTRACK. Once a year residents are randomly surveyed for their opinions. Tracking this information from year to year helps management serve its residents better.
