McLendon Hills is a 600-acre Lake and Equestrian Community in central North Carolina with a focus on old-fashioned values and traditions. It is a place where the properties are large and the activities are plentiful; where children run free in their spacious yards and neighbors gather like they used to in the good old days. Located in Seven Lakes, North Carolina just west of Pinehurst, McLendon Hills is peacefully located in the country, yet is close to many golfing, shopping, and dining opportunities.



Purchased in 1995 and developed in 1998, the land consists of rolling hills and spectacular vistas. Many forms of wild life such as quail, turkey, and deer roam the property adding to the scenic beauty of the development. The rolling contour of the land provides the perfect area for a lake. Lake Troy Douglas provides many lake-oriented activities such as swimming, boating, and fishing. Our bridle trails and modern 24 stall Equestrian Center provides many opportunities for the equine enthusiast.

Outdoor Activities A temporary Beach and Recreational area has been installed at "The Point" located at the end of Gails Road. This area has a sandy beach, picnic tables, pier, boat dock, and volleyball court for residents and property owners to use until our permanent amenities are complete.
